Nymphenburg Figure of The Mater Dolorosa, modelled by Bustelli



Rare Nymphenburg white glazed figure of the “Mater Dolorosa”.   Modelled by Franz Anton Bustelli.    c.1760

The mourning Madonna heavily draped in finely sculptured clothing.    Her head turned to the right, her hands clasped to her breast with a dagger to her breast.

Impressed shield mark and 4, modelled by F.A. Bustelli.

Circa 1760
