Derby Pierced Circular Twin Handled Basket

A Derby pierced circular twin handled basket, the exterior with vivid blue florets, the interior beautifully decorated with unusual sprigs of English wild fruit including: alpine strawberries, rosehips and sloes together with vivid small winged butterflies.
One of the most unusual and beautiful hands involved in painting fruit and insects at Derby at this time.
