A very rare pair of Meissen Partridges, beautifully modelled by J.J. Kaendler, each bird standing on an irregularly moulded base, applied with leaves and ears of corn, the birds with naturalistic colouring of browns and, grey, black and yellow, their heads inclined up to the viewer.
Circa 1745
