A Fine First Period Dr Wall Worcester Ale or Water Jug

A fine First Period Dr Wall Worcester Ale or Water Jug, of elegant baluster shape with everted edge, the applied strap handle with pointed thumbpiece and scrolled lower terminal, beautifully painted with a chinese interior showing ladies in an interior seated at a table scattered with various objects, with a bird on a perch standing close by.
Probably used for either Ale or Water, though the use of cider too is a possibility. The shape and size follows exactly the silver taste and the work of the Hugenot silversmiths such as Peter Archambo and George Wickes.
